2022 Cyclocross Refresher

Tuesday Evenings 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, August 2, 9, and 16

Registration also includes access to "Advanced Cyclocross Skills/Tactics" Zoom, Wednesday, September 7 at 6:00 pm (or via recording)

Wednesday, August 17 is make-up day in the event of severe weather cancellation.

Location: an unnamed MPLS City greenspace located E. Minnehaha Parkway and 35th Ave S (https://goo.gl/maps/YqQ1E7Rf95mwkz9z6). Park is S of Minnehaha Creek, E of S 34th Ave, N of the parkway. Street parking in neighborhood around 35th Ave S.*

*If you have done Triple C classes before, this is the location known as "the bowl."

Who is this for?

 

Riders should have at least a basic understanding of cyclocross fundamentals: dismount, carry, barriers, remount, corners, start. All genders welcome.

Goals/Objectives

This course is designed as a review to "clear the cobwebs" off your cyclocross skills. Coach Corey will  review the key aspects of each skill, answer questions, and then provide feedback while you practice. The refresher is designed to sharpen your skills before Tuesday Night Cyclocross starts on August 23.

Triple C Clinics are not permitted via USA Cycling. You do NOT need a USA Cycling license to participate.

Instructor Corey Coogan Cisek has competed in cyclocross, mountain bike, gravel and road since 2007. She is a 2-time National Cyclocross Champion in the Master's Category. During the winter, she races cyclocross professionally in Belgium, including representing the U.S. in World Cup competition. She has 11 years experience coaching endurance sports, including cycling, Nordic skiing, and running. Her passion is teaching bike skills and cyclocross.
