FTW Cyclocross/Off-Road Skills Training Series

Monday Evenings 5:45 pm - 7:00 pm, July 20, 27 and August 3, 10, 17, 24

This is an opportunity to develop your off-road skills in a welcoming, fun, collaborative environment!
Weeks 1–3: Drills emphasize balance, coordination, handling, and confidence.
Weeks 4–6: Addition of some cyclocross-specific skills. Most content remains applicable to all types of off-road riding.
Riders should have previous experience riding recreationally or competitively. Beginner to elite riders welcome. Drills will be scaled up or down for each rider.
This series aims to develop FTW cycling community. COVID-19 resulted in a near shutdown of community cycling events. This is an opportunity to safely play bikes with friends!
Speaking of safety:
Class size limited to 10 participants.
You must pre-register (ensures contactless transaction).
We will social distance AND masks are required.
Public portable toilets available. Hand sanitizer provided.
Water not available in park. Bring your own drink and food.
Instructor Corey Coogan Cisek has competed in cyclocross since 2007. She is a 2-time National Champion in the Master's Category. She has raced cyclocross professionally in Belgium, including representing the U.S. in 8 World Cups. She is a USAC Cycling Level 2 Certified Coach with 9 years experience coaching endurance sports. Her passion is teaching bike skills and cyclocross.
